2021/22 SCIHL Season Openings (D1, D2 & D3)
Discovery Bay, Elements & Megabox, HONG KONG – October, 2021
The SCIHL kicked off its new expanded 3 division format last month. A total of 14 teams spread across 3 divisions and 3 different locations aims to facilitate the growth of hockey in Hong Kong while giving players more options to take to the ice.

Division 1 started their season at the new DB Rink in Discovery Bay on September 30th, with both old and new faces joining to create a 4 team division headlined by many CIHL players looking to play another night in DB. Division 1 takes place Thursday evenings.

The rebranded Division 2 returned with a new 4 team format that plays 4 on 4 hockey on Sundays at Elements. Originally the only division of the SCIHL, this division sees many returning players to the only adult hockey league played at Elements.

Division 3 dropped their first puck on October 14th, with a new 6 team division that welcomes a wide range of skill levels held at Megabox in Kowloon Bay. From veterans of the game to players new to the SCIHL, this diverse league allows players of all skill levels to enjoy hockey on a Thursday night.

A special thank you to all the sponsors, as well as all the players and staff involved in a successful start to the SCIHL season. We look forward to a great season ahead.
